I wanted to see what kind of tomato cans we play our first few games. I mean, is our schedule really that easy??? Arkansas State- Last year they won their conference with an 8-0 record in conference and a 10-2 overall record. They conference is probably harder than the one Boise State plays in. They had losses to Illinois and #13 Va Tech. Neither were blowouts. They lost the GoDaddy.com Bowl. They are best known for their passing that was #16 in NCAA last season. This should be a decent opening opponent. Fresno State- The Bulldogs were 3-4 conference and 4-9 overall. They have a new coach and will be a true wild card to predict what type of team they will have. They generally have good players and I expect a new attitude, but should be an easy mark. Tennessee Tech- A very good Division II team that was 6-2/7-4 and tied for their conference championship. An easy win. I think we all know we will start 3-0. However, Arkansas State is no pushover and I expect them to hand for 2-3 quarters. Fresno State may be the same. As to Tennessee Tech, I'll bring a good book.
Me too. I think a team like Oregon should start with a tomato can to work the kinks out. Then play a couple of name teams you should handle and always go into conference play 3-0 as healthy as possible.
