Should we replace Larry Miller with Larry Bird or just wait 10 months for Paul Allen to fire Olshey and hire Bird to be our next GM?

Either works, but option 1 is the superior approach. Could you imagine having Bird and Olshey? If they can coexist, that is.

Nice to know Paul Allen reads my posts!

Come on PA, time to give KP a reverse Pritchslap and hire Larry Bird!

I think we should replace him with his brother Daryl or his other brother Daryl.

If Bird wants to move to Portland and not take a year off, then sure. Will that happen? No fuckin way.

Bird is a basketball guy, he was President of the Pacers in title but he effectively played more of the role of a GM with Moorway being assistant GM.

I think we should give Olshey a chance to run basketball operations without a President that will micro manage trivial decisions.

Hire a President with a business background and keep the basketball operations separate. I doubt Bird would be happy in such a role and even if he was he'd demand a higher salary than other candidates which would be a waste of money.

Why would they not? Olshey penetrates, passes to an un-guarded Bird for a 3!

others might not appreciate it, but I appreciated your reference to the woodsmen who were neighbors to Dick Louden.

Please give us a president that doesn't want to mettle in the basketball side of things. Stick to the business end of the team and let Olshey run the team.

IMO, Larry Bird would never consider working for Paul Allen.
