Jason Quick is a bad man.

He really thinks a team that badly wants Batum wouldn't make an offer for him? He doesn't think the offer is real? Really?

That doesn't make sense. MN dumped B-Easy and a bunch of players, can dump Martell and Darko easily. They have the cap space and they've wanted Batum (and Josh Smith) for years. They need a SF and somebody that can play the 2 for Brandon Roy insurance.

Why would you think this isn't real?

They're real close. All they have to do is trade Barea or Ridnour and it's a done deal. There's the cap space.

Sure they could do that, but MM said correctly that as of yet they can not, which is why JQ and others think the offer may not be real. Why wouldn't MIN try to bluff the Blazers into overpaying for Batum? We're a division rival. Paul Allen's done the same thing with Millsap and Wes Matthews, except he actually did sign the players to offer sheets. Millsap got matched, Matthews did not. Maybe the Batum offer is real, maybe it isn't. If it's offered, maybe it gets matched, maybe it doesn't.

Yeah who is going to take that trash. The can't make the offer, just get over yourself and read all the reports telling us they can't. What makes you so informed you read the same things we do. Besides we will match!

I'd be curious if that was a real cheer at the arena. RUBIO! RUBIO! RU-B-O!

While up until last year the arena was pretty dead after KG was traded, last season it was pretty insane. Few different groups of people with season tickets that have a bit of a European soccer feel to their chants and rowdiness. It's one of the things that Kahn and the front office has pushed, to improve the fan experience.

Pek has made a few comments comparing it to gyms over in Europe.

It's actually fun to have season tickets again. Rubio and Pek were a huge part of that.

Not too long ago you got dirty looks if you stood and cheered. Quite depressing.
