And blowing up the team at the start of a bad season vs at the end of a bad season doesn't change the picks you get.

Put me in the camp for a sign and trade for Derrick Williams. At this point LMA will be playing 4-5. So give Williams minutes at the 3-4. If it was really offered I would jump all over it.

What exactly about Wes is > than Bayless?

    Bayless is

    Younger
Shoots better from the field and 3pt
    Higher assists
    Better defensive rating
    Better win share
PER 36 he scores more and those assist numbers aren't even close

I would like to have Bayless back, though.

Well he played only 31 games last year. Meanwhile, Mathews played through just about every injury he's ever had.

Where the hell did you get those numbers? Did I mess up again, or are you taking career numbers? I was speaking of the player Bayless is right now

So you took a very small sample size and posted it as gospel? That's disingenuous in my opinion. Their career numbers are more accurate.

Bayless has never sniffed a starting job for a reason. The guy puts up his numbers against bench players and could never beat out Calderon. Thats all I need to know.

    Let.

    It.

    Go.

I'd rather go after Jarrett Jack than Bayless.

Hmmm ... now that I think about it, I would too. Jack isn't exactly all-world as a point guard, and I'd have to start the "Step-on-the-baseline-take-a-drink" game again, but he's tough he can play a little bit of 2 guard, and by all accounts he's a good teammate.

    Sure why not.

I took last years numbers because I don't think a player should be rewarded or penalized for prior production. Maybe the last two years?

FT made on an even level? What is it then? Bayless is flat out better to me. No reason to keep arguing about it

sorry mm, but this flat out destroys you

bayless played starter minutes in 7 games last year, this way of thinking is just silly...bayless MAY be the better player going forward, but up to this point, he has been replacement level
