So, we all know at the UC they announce the "star" player last. MJ. Rose. Elton for a spell. Mercer for a year (ugh). And of course Captain Kirk. Last year when Rose was out and Boozer was healthy they would announce Boozer last. Placate the highly paid veteran "star." So, assuming the lineup to start next year is Hinrich, Rip, Deng, Boozer, Noah, who does the org choose to announce last?
My money is on Captain Kirk. He'll be the fan favorite and the org will be shifting to a "win later" mode where Boozer's mood and ego is less important. Luol would be a solid choice as well, but he might not be in the picture anymore due to timeframe and he might not be in good graces due to him playing in the Olympics. Its either Hinrich, Deng or Boozer IMO, and its a tough call, but I'm going with Hinrich.
Deng. He's a starter and will remain a starter. Add to that the fact that, other than Rose, he's the only Bull to be named an all star since Clinton was President, and Luol ought to be a shoe-in.
What they ought to do is go in order of willingness to come up with some shtick to make the crowd pumped. So, realistic or not, my vote goes to Jo.
