Why do you think you're going to get fair value for Batum? Do you not understand he is a free agent, and by simply trading Luke Ridnour we could offer him more money than you can match?

why don't you understand restricted free agency, and that there is not a dollar amount you can offer we can not match.

..... DERP! He's an RFA HERP DERP!

There isn't a number that you can offer him that we can't match. We could offer him 14 million per year if we felt like it. Go to the web and look up "bird rights" and "restricted free agent".

    Reading is fundamental!

Keep in mind, there is no need for Minny to rush the offer sheet. As soon as Batum signs it, that's the end of the sign-and-trade.

That makes no sense, they can't even AFFORD an offer sheet. That seems like what they should rush towards first.

Kahn doesn't want to. Adelman will if need be. 1st choice is to find a deal w/o him though. RT @BennyBeThis @DarrenWolfson Give up D-Will?

I would deal Batum for Williams in a heartbeat. Let Minny take the albatross.

If Allen has his heels dug in then we can probably just resign ourselves that Nic is either going to be an overpaid Blazer or accept his QO and bolt as a UFA next summer

    *sigh*

Yup. 11.5 is bloated. Especially when guys like Ilyasova and Anderson got 9.

@daldridgetnt interview with @nicolas88batum is consistent with my OTR interview, except Nic saying he wants to "move on" That surprised me

Great point .. probably correct RT @CHold: Nic might want to rush it so he can start contact/games with French national team

Any truth to the rumor that Paul Allen plans to take revenge for the Batum fiasco by buying Minnesota and renaming the twin cities Minneapolis-St. Paul Allen?
