The way free agency is shaking out, we might patch this roster together and it could be ugly. Hate to waste a good year of Aldridge's prime down in the dumps, but it kind of is what it is....

And that is why we should trade him.

yeah, since freeing up cap space didn't work, we should do it again, but moreso since it WILL work in the future! :MARIS61:

Thing is, if we're going to suck, then we better force Leonard and Lillard, and Will and Elliot. It'll annoy me if we kind of wave the white flag, but go and find some shitty stopgaps that take minutes, and Leonard only gets like 8 minutes a night, and Barton spends the whole year in the D League

don't need to force. just have them break the rotation naturally. no one is held back..they are on the bench for a reason

Sure, leonard could be on the bench because he isn't as good as thomas. But thomas isn't taking us anywhere, os it makes more sense to play leonard, even if he is making some mistakes.

And who said not having a GM for over a year was not a big deal? Larry Miller could handle it right? I think we're reaping now what we sowed by not having a basketball-minded president and no GM on staff. If the Blazers are truly going to succeed, we need someone steering the ship with a pilot's license to do-so. No PA meddling in the soup. No Vulcan lurking in the shadows. And absolutely no Burt Kolde to muddy the water...

The president is a business guy, not supposed to be making basketball decicisions. That's what you have a GM for.
