    I guess if we hear about Darko and Martell being waived/traded then that would be a good hint.

    from a few things i'v read today it wont be for a bit. Minny is still trying to get us to work out a sign and trade so they dont' have to destroy there cap waiting for us to match. I would assume a few days before batum concedes and signs with us.

    What are the deadlines? That is:
    when does he have to sign an offer sheet by before he's committed to the qualifying offer?

    Also: I get the impression he left France (after only just getting there and not playing in the England game) because he wasn't in the Spain game. How long is he going to want to hang around in the US while Team France prepares for the Olympics? I imagine that's actually more on his mind than this contract - he knows he's going to be rich whatever happens.
