If they're bought to another city will they change there names? Will this presure Allen Iverson to leave hte orginization?
Re: Sixers for Sale! This is awful. I think that there has to be a team in Philadelphia. The sixers are one of the classic ball clubs in the NBA, I cant see the NBA letting them change the name if the ball club is sold.

Although this is a shock, I can live without a team in philadelphia, also the sixers aren't classic, they were the Phila Warriors before they became the sixers.
Re: Sixers for Sale! Just because a team is sold does not mean it will be moved or the team will change it's name. That only happens in extreme circumstances, and the Sixers are fine where they are.
Re: Sixers for Sale! I dont think they will move. What would be the point? they have good a following in philly. Its not like moving makes a team any better. Anyone with the money to buy the sixers will surely have the sense to stay in town. The sonics on the other hand are very likely to move... bad lease, small fan base, cold, wet, uninviting location that isn't attractive for free agents.Sixers will stay in Philly and sonics are on the way to Oklahoma city.

Re: Sixers for Sale! I doubt they would be moving out of a big market like Philly. No need to be worried.
Re: Sixers for Sale! if they are bought, i wouls almost guarantee they stay in Philly. That city just loves basketball.
Re: Sixers for Sale! They cant move the sixers Iverson is part of phillly what will philly be like if there was no iverson they are staying in philly and because of the memorie the championships they have no they are staying in philly
