I would like say Davis because he has/had great talent, but he wasted it. Some of it is because of injury, but some of it is because of his attitude. Bibby is consistent and is always there for his team. Just for that reason I take Bibby, because he still is very talented and plays at a high level.
I'm going to bump this topic. Anyone still want to take Bibby? Baron's missed only 5 games this year and has crushed the King's this year, see the 36 and 18 game.
Its not a matter of who you would take NOW. If both were fully healthy and played all 82 games, Baron Davis would tear up Mike Bibby. Baron Davis has had a come back season this year. He's putting up big numbers in every catagory. He's played 21 games and started in 20. As an invidual, you've got to pick Baron Davis. Diddy puts up 18 points with 8 dimes, 5 boards, 2 steals.
I have to take Baron Davis, he's just way more talented than Mike Bibby. But that's not the main reason, raw talent. The main reason I'll take Baron over Bibby is because Baron is a playmaker. Bibby is a 6'1'' SG, Baron is an all around playmaker. He's an excellent passer and he can score just as well as Bibby (maybe better considering Bibby is a spot up shooter while Davis is an outstanding penetrater). 5 seconds left in the game with my team down 1, sure, I'll take Bibby. But as a POINT GUARD, not a scoring 6'1'' player, I'll take Baron Davis. Also note that he has trimmed down a bit since last year.
Bibby no doubt because well otehr den the fact that he makes his teammates better hes consistent and isnt injury prone wile davis has his great games but then has a real stinker of a game sometimes also bibby is much better rounded except for reboundin but davis is very 2dimensional as he can only score and pass his reboundin is better then bibbys but everythin else is much worse. not to mentoin davis get injured almost evry season .BIBBY > Davis :dribble:
