Letting go of Andre Miller and gifting the Thuggets Kenneth Faried. Dre would have been the perfect mentor/leader for Lillard, AND as apparent by this photo he loved the Blazers, still does. Scope the sweats: http://instagram.com/p/M8xCtujA8g/
I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a better one. I mean, when they announced Nolan Smith, and then said that he wasn't going to DEN, that was the rage-light of my year,
the dude in the background looks like he bought his clothes from the Craig Sager Summer collection at Penney's.
I love Dre. I doubt he's showing the Blazers love, I just think he's the kind of guy to never throw anything away that he got free. He's one NBA player I would bet a lot of money will never go bankrupt. Best Blazers PG since Porter, and yes I do remember Strickland. Dre might end up looking like a bum on the street (check out the hair!) but he'll actually be a millionaire who doesn't give a shit.
Until we realize that Harrison Barnes is actually a better Grant Hill and Damian Lillard is Antonio Daniels mk. II, the only mistake that could conceivably rival the Dre trade would be amnestying Roy, if that German doctor's voodoo actually makes Brandon even 75% of the player he once was.
That trade sucked. It sucked at the time and it has gotten worse over time. Miller and Faried would be a nice pair to have as Blazers... Ed O.
