I'd definitely say Portland if they can get rid of Randolph and/or Miles. Those two are the main ugly contracts, and LaFrentz, but his doesn't last as long as theirs.
The Raps? With a bright mind like Colangelo's, this team is heading for a bright future for sure. He's already made the team better from last year. As long as Bargnani can do well in a few years, I think we'd be a Eastern playoff contender.
Hmmm....I'd say Celtics have a very bright future with some fantastic young talent (Al Jefferson, Geral Green, Delonte West, etc..).
i'd say the bobcats. they have a really up and coming pg in raymond felton and if okafor stops getting injured they will be a really good one two punch together. they also have some other solid players in sean may and gerald wallace along with a good rookie adam morrison. it's nice to see teams with a vision.
The Magic, Dwight Howard is the next legend of the NBA, he is going to dominate the game and take the Magic to a championship. They have drafted JJ Redick a great addition to their bench, and a future starter. An expreienced forward in Grant Hill and young Trevor Ariza. The Raptors, they have one of the greatest GM's in Collangelo and with the first pick this year they drafted a promising PG in Andrea Bargani along with the fact they have one of the best young PF's in the league in Chris Bosh, and don't forget T.J. Ford, this big 3 will arrive in the playoffs within the next 3 years. The Bulls, there is no question that if these guys gel they will be a contendor, with some of the most promising players in the league they have added an exprienced superstar in Ben Wallace and not to mention the addition of P.J. Smith and the arrival of a star PF in Tyrus Thomas. They are the future.
i've rarely seen dwight howard play so i don't wanna say i don't believe when i have no right to but is dwight howard really going to be that good? you say the next legend........ :g:

The magic. With a dominating big man in Dwight Howard who is really young and already one of the best rebounders in the game. Darko Milicic finally getting some playing time, look for him to do some big things. Jameer Nelson and excellent point guard and in a few years will be probably one of the top point guards in the league. And now the pick up of sharp shooter JJ Redick who gives them a big outside presence. This team will be huge.
the bulls. Forget the big ben signing. They got young guns comin out thier ears Chris Duhon, Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas , Andres Nocioni, Viktor Khryapa, all with only a few years and all starting to "step up" they will be dangerous in a few years (maybe this year. Providing Paxon can keep them together.
yea the bulls will be contenders for a title in a few years for sure thanks to isiah thomas. nice sig by the way clangus :happy0144:
2 Teams that I think have the brightest futures are the Magic and the Celtics.Orlando Magic- They have Dwight Howard who is one of the best power forwards in the league already. He has a big strong body and he is an excellent rebounder. One of the top few in the league. He can score the bucket, but he isnt as involved in the offense as he should be. Jameer Nelson can flat out score the rock. When healthy in the 2nd half of this past season, he put on some performances where he got 25+ points with very good field goal percentages. He is a good solid passer who doesnt make very many turnovers. He is a smart player and a good rebounder for his size. They have Darko Milicic who is just starting to feel comofortable in the NBA. His defensive presence is great and he shows glimpses of goodness on the offensive end. JJ Reddick is something that this team needed IMO. Considering they have Dwight Howard, there are going to be alot of double teams, which means they are going to kick it out alot of the time. And who better to kick it out to than JJ Redick?Boston Celtics-Wow, where do I begin? This team is LOADED with young talent. I will go in order of position. They have 3 young point guards that all have potential to be very solid NBA players. Delonte West, Rajon Rondo, and Sebastian Telfair. Delonte is a very solid shooter who is also a very smart player. You rarley every see him have over 2 TO's a game. He has good ball control and he is also a pretty good passer. Rajon Rondo is a great defender who can rack up the steals. He is also a good passer and gets to the basket at will. He lacks some shooting skills but that will be worked on by the Celtics coaches you would have to believe. Sebastian Telfair is great at getting to the hoop and finishing. He is a flashy passer but these passes work alot of the time. He is a perfect fit for the Celtics system. One shooting guard that obviously stands out is Gerlad Green. He has SICK athleticsim and can rise up over everybody. He is still a little raw considering he hasnt been playing organized ball for very long but he is a great talent. His jumpshot is good but he needs to work on his ball control and defesne. That will come with time IMO. 2 Power Forwards on this team are great IMO. First, Ryan Gomes. He is an excellent rebounder for his size. He gets alot of offensive boards which is where he gets the majority of his points. He hustles like crazy. Al Jefferson is a very talented young player. He has great post moves for his age. He has only been in the league 2 years and he is only I think 21 so he will only get better. Kendrick Perkins at the center position is a solid defender. He has big games where he will get 5 blocked shots in a game. His post moves arent very diversified but he seems to make his low post moves a decent amount of the time.
Chicago probably has the best future, especially because they have a chance at Greg Oden next draft. They have depth at each position and bright, young players too. I'd say Toronto, Portland, Charlotte, Orlando, Boston, Cleveland, Miami, and maybe Atlanta also have bright futures.

But I think Portland has a lot of young talent, but needs Zach Randolph to turn back into a 20/10 guy (he had 18/8 last year i think lol), meaning a dominant player who doesn't need plays ran for him to score. That would lead Portland on a turnaround, even this year. Other than that, Toronto and Orlando both have rising stars, which puts them in great positions. Boston already has a star and a ton of young talent, they should be a surprise team even this year.
Charlotte - I think the Bobcats have the brightest future...they have so much young talent that its only going to take a matter of time before they break out.Orlando - Im not too sold on Orlando being one of the best teams in the future, the only players I see contributing to the future are Nelson and Howard...Darko Milicic & JJ Reddick?? they have alot to prove before I take Orlando as contenders.Chicago - this is a given that the Bulls are going to be good!Raptors - have alot of potential with rising star Bosh and pg Ford, depends on how the new faces play.

Definetly the Orlando Magic. That spark we saw late of last season is a sign of things to come. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win at least one championship in the next 10 years.
1st- Chicago Bulls. Not only do they have a shitload of young talent, but each player plays with fundamentals and defense, two underrated aspects in today's game. That's why they'll be so successful.2nd- Boston Celtics. We have young talent everywhere. We are set at all five positions, and each player fills a different role. for example: Delonte will be an emotional leader and shooter. Tony Allen and Rajon Rondo will be lock-down defenders. Bassy will be a playmaker. Gerald will be a scorer. Al Jefferson will be a scorer, rebounder. Ryan Gomes will do anything, he'll be the dirty work guy while still getting pretty good numbers, at a high rate. Perk will be the defensive force.3rd- Orlando Magic/Toronto Raptors. They should both be great. Both teams are built similar, around a pg and a pf, but toronto seems to making better moves as of late. Jameer/Howard vs. Ford/Bosh should be a hell of a match-up in years to come.
The Magic most definitely. They have one thing that many teams don't have: CAP SPACEThey got rid of penny's contract (15.4M), and next year Grant Hill comes off the books (16.9M). Even though Wade, Melo, LeBron, and Pierce aren't FA's next year, they can still get more than quality players
very good point. They could get some killer FA's in the coming years. I was thinking they had a shot at melo, but he signed an extension.
