    It seemed like a pretty good idea at the time--a starting center with lots of upside. He overstated things, of course, but it was still a good pickup.

    I think Kahn got lucky with the amnesty rule, of course, and it ends up costing them nothing but money.

    Would definitely take Darko for the C position on the cheap. He can block shots, play defense, and foul hard.

    No, but comparing somebody who had been a total bust to the guy you are sitting next to is probably not the way to win friends and influence people.

    That is the only decent 5 minute stretch of Webber doing courtside work I've ever heard, but the "Good Luck" is priceless at the end. As soon as Vlade's name came out you could hear that interview make a quick turn for the worse.
