I think the offer sheet thing is just a reporter trying to the get the scoop first out on Twitter. He'll learn to check more sources next time rather than take the agent's word for it. I'm still a Haynes fan.

Haynes can redeem himself at Summer League.

He has A LOT of redeeming to do.

Step one: get away from Jaynes.

    Mamadou's a player. Bouna's the agent.

Batum has to get a different agent.

His job is to get his client, a RESTRICTED free-agent, the right contract -- Ndiaye went out of his way to burn the bridge with Portland. And it failed miserably.

I don't think it matters where he is from - a lousy agent is a lousy agent.

It's more likely that it's one of Dikembe's kids.

Nice . . . I wrote a response to Haynes article saying he had it wrong. It was civil and worst part was asking him to check facts before writing article because Blazer fans are knowledgable and deserve this.

Deleted in less than 2 minutes.

You should tell him that he should have just written his article but not submitted it, just like David Kahn.

That would have lasted 30 seconds.

Sad thing is all the comments believe the Blazeres have 72 hours and he won't even clarify it for them. Rather mislead Blazer fans then admit he is wrong.

I agree, I think Ndiaye was the main guy feeding Haynes his "inside' info.

When Batum said his first choice wasn't Portland, Haynes peppered his twitter with "Batum wants out", "Batum's heart isn't with Portland", "Batum's dream..." blah, blah, etc., etc.

But we don't "own" him so the Blazers' #1 priority should be happiness (Ndiaye's) above business.

    nah you're talking/thinking like a fan.

Ndiaye is doing everything he can to get Nicolas more money and put him on a Rick Adelman coached team ... and Nic has taken almost none of the heat from fans. What's the problem here?

That was what I was missing at first. I figured agent was supposed to get client most money. But Ndaiye went with the first offer (and cancelled all other interviews) and is pushing for his client to go to one specific place. That doesn't ever work out for "most money". You don't get both as an RFA.

So he could stay here for the money the "market" would give him, or he wants a S&T to one particular team. You don't have leverage that way, sorry. :dunno:

    Dwight is at it again.

You know it's bad when Quick calls him out like he did last week.

For Dwight, the worse the Blazer get, the better for him.
