    Can't remember if you already answered this in another post Brian, but since when you amnesty a player they have to go through waivers also, does Darko's not come off until he clears also?

    Maybe Quick asked Cronin.... We don't have the 2011 CBA so this could be a change. It doesn't make any logic sense for the NBA to tie up cap space for 7 days for salary that cannot ever go back on a teams cap.

    yeah, that's how I read it.
    The rest of question 67 talks about the mechanics of setting up bids and how much for, etc....but it doesn't say anything about a reduced waiver period or none at all. :dunno:
