Yeah I was a little tongue-in-cheek... It depends on how many wins CJ would bring us. The more the worse. :ghoti:

Agent David Falk said Blazers and GM Neil Olshey may have lost RFA Roy Hibbert, but they gained "human capital"

I think this is a good thing

"I'm a great believer in good will,'' Falk said. "I have a very long memory, and I will remember how Neil and the Blazers handled this.''

"Whether this comes back to them with Roy (Hibbert), or someone else, it will produce a positive result for them down the road,'' Falk said.

See the Batum situation, and then imagine it 180 degrees differently.

Portland knew they were losing out on Hibbert, and they didn't force the issue. There was no smearing the player or the team. Olshey commended Walsh and the Pacers (no mention of KP)... yadda yadda yadda. Probably as much as what we did do as what we didn't do.

    Didn't resort to Kahn tactics.

I've heard good/positive things said about our management recently.

Such as, "Good thing that Buchanan wasn't promoted from interim GM to full-time GM."

Maybe he's talking about when Neil withdrew the Hibbert offer so it wouldn't tie up Indy for the three days IIRC

Or when they said they'd match all of the principal items, and we said ok and didn't force the issue, allowing IND to do their thing on their own time.
