Was there a Vin Baker sighting on that video...man that team must have been really desperate.

Kurt Thomas rejoins Marcus Camby at center. Raymond Felton goes under the wing of Jason Kidd and becomes the best guard in the NBA.

    +1

Vin Baker was simply a casualty of the late 90's lockout (Shawn Kemp was as well). He was one of the better, up-and-coming players in the league beforehand, without a doubt.

I'm surprised we didn't have more casualties in this more recent lockout, but I guess they had guys like Vin Baker to take note of this time around.

Felton is so fat these pieces we're acquiring are really just remnants of Felton's fat left behind.

When listening to the July 13 practice video it was said that Diebler is on the squad but can't play any games because he has to head back to Europe or something.

I'm glad that Diebler is not being thrown in. He ain't anything special, but if you had a team ready to compete he is a deadeye shooter that can fill a role someday.

If that's the case, that's awesome. Both those going to Minny along with Batum for Williams and a pick?

Interesting that Printeziz draft rights have already been traded 4 times, and although his stats don't seem too impressive (except a .565 shooting percentage), his PER was over 31! I do hope He is going to Minny; we all know Kahn loves those Euros!

Apparently, NY is not a good place for aging NBA PGs with tons of money...

    Rich Bucher reported yesterday:

So, the Wolves have already offered Williams and picks and been turned down. I fail to see how Jared Jeffries would change anything.

Nah, Felton was in the car with him. Kidd was at the wheel because Felton was too fat to drive.

@jwquick: Possible details of Blazers-Knicks deal could be Knicks sending Kostas Papanikolaou to Blazers and $$ to help pay for Jeffries' $3.1M salary

Baker was a casualty of an alcohol addition. Kemp was a casualty of a cocaine addiction.

I suppose the lockout didn't help. It gave them more free time to drink and snort, but both had those problems prior to the lockout.

Felton is a casualty of a doughnut addiction.

Wow, kid is impressive. If we were to nab him for a player who was going to be nowhere near our roster this year (Felton), that would be a great deal by Olshay. Do due diligence and watch some video of Kostas, great talent.
