Man, the celtics were winning in a watered down leage, they haven't won a ship for 20 years. They don't deserve the number one position when they can't make the playoffs in the east. You put the all celtics teams on the court with the all laker team and laker team will run the celtics off the court. Most of their players are overrated actually/

No, that's stupid. Miami has only one championship.Suns vs. Blazers for that last spot.
1. Boston Celtics2. LA Lakers3. Chicago Bulls4. Philadelphia 76ers5. Detroit Pistons6. New York Knicks7. Houston Rockets8. Milwaukee Bucks9. SA Spurs10. Portland TrailBlazersBan that dude, right now. He is the stupidest poster probably ever. The Miami Heat havn't done anything since this championship besides their short hayday with Glen Rice and Alonzo Mourning. They definately wouldnt even make Top 20.
bucks? what have the bucks done? ECF once?Suns have made the finals once, and the WCF 3 times(incl. the time they mad ethe finals)
You just made yourself sound stupid. They have won the NBA Championship once, made the NBA Finals twice, made the ECF/WCF 8 times, had a 60+ win season 4 times, had 50+ win seasons 13 times in their 30+ year history. They definately deserve to be up there. Great players have played on their teams like Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Oscar Robertson, Sidney Moncrief, Glenn Robinson, Ray Allen, and now Michael Redd.
gee guys. Top ten franchises seems like it is saying of all time - otherwise it would be the 2 round this year minus a few. OF ALL TIME what does it matter if the celts haven't won in 20yrs? Also what about adding in the JAZZ? they madew the playoffs for 20 strait years or some such.

1.Lakers (they've had an elite team in every decade in NBA history)2.Celtics3.Pistons4.Bulls5.Knicks6.76ers7.Rockets8.Spurs9.Blazers10.Buck s
No team will ever beat 8 consecutive championships, regardless of the competition that's an amazing achievement. Obviously I'm biased towards my home team, but the Lakers fans do have a point, we haven't been competitive for 20 years. A good argument can be made for either side.
