Well, off the top of my head, perhaps something like a 2-5 acre parcel in the $50k's? Obviously, well and septic installed would be a bonus. Thanks.
My cousin is a realtor in Bend. He can help ya out. He's a good guy. He found my mom a nice chunk of land in Prineville that she wants to build on when she retires. PM me if interested in his contact info.
Do any of you know of a great realtor in Bend? I'm not talking about the "friend of a friend" type, but a trusted local realtor you know (or, perhaps, are related to) there who really knows the area.
Things do change, yes. Looking for something close to downtown that we would air bnb much of the year, but available for personal trips.
why not just air bnb when you are in town? it would be a lot less hassle, paperwork, not to mention much cheaper.
No, I don't know what it's like to want some goats living around me. And the chickens bring flies. The dogs? Okay, are going to have children? Hey, I once did the electrical design on a grocery store in LaPine.
Hey, that was 8 years ago. No goats. Plus, I now live in Tennessee. Completely new dynamic here. I think it's fun to sometimes dredge up old threads if new relevant information emerges. Long live zombie threads! Again, if we were to do this, the plan would be to live in Tennessee, Florida, and Bend. Roughly, 4 months each per year with occasional spot visits.
