Lamar coach Pat Knight has hired former Indiana teammate Sherron Wilkerson as an assistant. Wilkerson was an assistant at Indiana University Southeast during the 2010-2011 season and a former standout for the Hoosiers. Indiana coach Bob Knight in 1994 head-butted Wilkerson while yelling at him on the bench, but Knight later said the highly publicized incident was unintentional.
