You're not one of those assholes who thinks you are fooling all of us by making something $9.99 instead of $10.00, or having gas at $2.99.9/10 instead of $3.00 are you?

Careful now. Once people around here start agreeing with Bill Simmons you know the Mayans must have been right

Fuck no. But you're talking a penny vs. $500K. That's a big difference in my world.

    But I am an asshole.

    So that makes you 1-for-2.

Seriously, I about shat myself when I saw Bill's comments of approval.

EDIT: I just didn't give myself enough time before typing the above comment.

Since (I assume) we're keeping Batum, and paying him shitloads, we should do things to make sure he's successful. It might be asking too much to hire Vincent Collet as our coach, but I'd certainly be in favor of signing Ronny Turiaf as a scrub bench big. He even played at Gonzaga, and Roy was always in favor of signing him. He would be the perfect Jack Haley for Batum. (I'd also like us to sign Andrew Albicy, but I realizethat's significantly less likely.)

    Watch Turiaf at 0:15 here:

(It's Albicy (#7) who gets the assist, too.)

I can't emphasize enough how important it is to develop Leonard's passing and overall touch. You keep a guy who can slash to the hoop or hit the outside jumped (like Batum can do both), you're best served by having a big man who can pass the ball.

In this, does "H" stand for "hall" or "hole"?

Nic needs to stop playing 5-on-5, he should play 1-on-1 all day, every day.

I just like how Gasol has figured out he's been posterized by Batum enough, so Gasol fouls Batum every time he sees him coming down the lane.

    RESPECT!

Sorry, I thought I answered it. Five years, $40MM or an average of $8MM/year.

You guys are being way too hard Haynes. Interviewing a player about a transaction that didn't happen is pure genius. Think of the possibilities!

Haynes: Grant Hill talks w/CSNNW about never once considering signing with #Blazers

Haynes: Dwight Howard talks w/CSNNW about a non trade to #Blazers

Haynes: Jeremy Lin talks with w/CSNNW about the contract offer #Blazers never made to him

This could turn into a great series!

I'd call it, Chris Haynes annoys NBA players with imaginary offers.

I'm actually leaning towards number 4 here. I'd rather have our draft pick, Williams and Lee. I'm just happy that we're going to be sticking you with a large contract on a guy that's never averaged over 14ppg in the nba. Scares the hell out of me as to whether he can become a #2 or #3 type player for your team.

It works out well for us, especially when you consider timing/structure of the other contracts on our roster.

Minne realized they made a mistake in making the commitment that would tie them up for 3 days (otherwise, Taylor wouldn't have been on the phone with Olshey). You guys missed out on several players.

Oh, and I love seeing Adelman diss D-Will.

Beautiful. Minne Kahn'ed themselves. So Kahmical!
