I don't know what that was, but I'm glad he's not playing. First of all, I think that the time is better spent on more unknown and inexperienced players. Secondly, I don't want him getting hurt.

His actual lane agility time was 12.50, good for second worst at the draft combine.

The worst was Sullinger at 12.77 seconds.

However, Terrence Ross and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist were also among the 10 slowest in the agility testing. I'm not sure how well the drill they do measures their lateral foot speed.

Wes probably just wanted to make the youngsters feel a part of the team, and also got a free trip to Vegas out of it.

I hope he has a blast the rest of his time there, because he's a very bright guy who has a future as a coach in the league. It wouldn't surprise me if part of his reasoning for even being on the roster was to see how assistants work with young players, without him being one of the young players being coached.

Free trip to Vegas to enjoy plenty of strippers. Don't tell me you wouldn't make an appearance in SL for that (if you were even remotely decent at bball).

in the practice interviews he basically said he was gonna play the 1st game only, wanted to come down and greet the new guys, mentioned that he sees himself as a leader, and wanted to prove it, and work on his post up game

Are you asking for a link or getting ready to take the forum to Vegas?

This game thread is already longer than some of last year's game threads from later in the season.

Are people excited for some Blazers basketball or what?

My post came off negative... I didn't mean it to be. I'm just pleased that he's getting out of the way now :)

We'll see, but I'm still holding on to some hope that WB is an above average defender.

Not getting the Laughing Guy emoticon. He didn't really work on his post-up game in the first game. Unless you were agreeing with me? Hard to tell.

Whatever happened to that Brainiac Guy, though? :dunno:
