Every time Chris Haynes opens his mouth, he sounds like a completely idiot.

It's cool. Our SL team lost to what is essentially the Rockets real team.

Yup. I was hoping Leonard would show a little more, but he didn't do half bad considering they started three guys that could start in the frontcourt.

I think it's funny when people say, "well he can score... but that's it." Shit, that's most of the shooting guards in the NBA. Brandon Roy didn't exactly do much on defense either. If he ends up averaging 20+ ppg, I think we'll regret passing on him.

Brandon Roy had the best crossover in the game, could finish at the hoop with either hand, was great at facilitating the offense and unselfish. His step-back jumper was filthy.

I don't see that in Lamb.

Nothing Lamb does is going to make us regret passing on him, its all about what Leonard does.

What does any of that have to do with not playing defense? Lamb has a smooth jumper, he has deep range, and he can drive. I'm not saying he's going to be a super star (Roy was), but I think he could easily average 20+ ppg. Let's face it, we're not exactly set at shooting guard right now. We are, however, in much better shape in the post. Between Aldridge, Hickson, and Freeland, we actually have a pretty good rotation right now. Instead of drafting Lamb and potentially being set for many years to come at that spot, we instead went with a project at center. Hey, it might turn out okay. The guy has potential and I think he can be a very solid starter for us down the line, but I think center is one of the least important positions in the league right now. You can get away with a guy who is 6'10, and teams regularly do it. I get the reasoning, but like I said, I think we might regret the decision.

An All-Star PF, a PF waived by his last team, and a guy from England who hasn't played a single game even in the summer league, and who also seems like a PF instead of a C.

    Yeah, the front-court is loaded.

Compared to..... Wes Matthews and a guy who hasn't been able to play a full season since he was drafted? Which area is weaker right now?

Lamb has a chance to be a poor man's Klay Thompson. That's pretty good, actually.

I saw some guys beat up on a bunch of scrubs. Do you really think any of the guys you mentioned can defend a legitimate post player?

Because there is more to being a dynamic scorer like Brandon Roy was than being a spot shooter as Lamb is. The defense thing has nothing to do with my comment. You're right, both suck at defense.

Lamb was a 34% shooter from 3 in college. I'd say he has below average deep range. I still say, his best case scenario is Kevin Martin. Even that might be a stretch.

You passed right over Will Barton. I get that being negative is your new deal, though.

Lamb had a nice game, but seriously, they basically beat us by 9 points (11-2) while outrebounding us by 19.
