At this point, I say fuck it if he wasn't born in the US. He's been President for damn near a term now. At some point, it just doesn't matter.
Remember the video where the guy showed the different "layers" of the BC? I just wish these people would outright say "I don't like him because he's black". And NO I'm not saying that people who dislike him dislike him because he's black, but seriously...you don't think that the candidates went through a LOT of screening before they ran for President? These people are coming up with any reason to dislike him, instead of just admitting the reason.
I think he wasn't really asked for a lot of this information early on and his political team--who in 2008 didn't make a wrong step--had the insight that the paucity of information available about him was actually a bonus, becuase it drove crazy the very people that scare the shit out of the independents and left-of-center voters and got them out to vote. In other words, I don't think he hides basic information about his life (birth certificate, transcripts, etc.) because there's something to hide, but rather because it's a great distraction and brings out the conspiracy crazies. And those conspiracy crazies cost his opponent votes.
Ah back on this insane bandwagon. The highest authorities in the US have confirmed that Obama's birth certificate is in fact real yet a VOLUNTEER POSSE can come up with some BS and not only will it be reported on but we have people in the US who will believe the BS story.
False. Not saying you're wrong on the authenticity, but there is no "highest authority" who confirmed it's real. I'm still wondering why we can't see his college transcripts. We had Clinton's, Gore's, Dubya's, Kerry's, McCain's, and now Romney's. No Obama, though. Why?
Because we mere mortals can't handle the genius contained in Obama's transcripts. He's protecting us from his awesomeness because we just can't handle it.
Okay I was stretching the truth on that one. The Supreme court refused to look at the case and didn't comment on why they would not look at the it. You have the state he was born in saying he was born there. I really don't get all the latching onto this stupid argument, Its worse then the swift boat veterans and the "John Kerry is french" stuff from 2004.
that works too, but for a simple fact I would bet there wasn't a portion of our country that owned mormons as slaves, treated mormons, had separate entrances for mormons, still call mormons the "M" word and have hate groups targeting mormons. I think those who dislike Mitt because he's mormon is significantly smaller than those who dislike Obama because he's black. And both of those groups (who dislike Mitt because he's mormon, and dislike Obama because he's black) set the rest of us back 100 years.
What is it with the left and the race card? It's tiresome. I don't like Obama because he's a literal liar, and on top of it, his idea of taking responsibility for his own record is to blame others and then slime his opponents with lies. He's the ultimate Chicago politician, but the transcendent "Hope and Change" platform he ran on was an obvious farce. As anybody who has taken a single business course knows, "Hope" isn't a strategy, and "Change" without a strategy is superfluous at best, and destructive at worst.
Despite having no evidence whatsoever that these "investigators" of the Obama birth certificate are motivated by racism - you are sure quick to trot out the race card. Why? Was Clinton black and I missed it? Clinton got a lot of shit from the right wing including a bunch of self-appointed looking to dig up dirt. And this was Clinton, a President who worked with Republicans and was far far less polarizing the Obama has been so far. These people dislike Obama because of what he does, what he says and what positions he takes. KISS.
