    Minni just wanted to be sure their division rival didn't retain a solid starter on the cheap. Without them stepping in, Nic probably resigns in the 8M range that many here felt he was worth... I don't blame them

    I'm interested in Olshey's comment about the deal being less then the reported 45-50M... how much less?

    He supposedly gets a $1.5 million bonus.

    I'm betting they had the $45/4 agreement, Minne added bullshit that the league disallowed that would have made it $46.5/4, and then we ended back at the original $45/4 total.
