I still don't see details - what exactly did Portland give/get?

I have looked everywhere and no other details. My guess is 2 round picks. Maybe a trade exception?

I doubt it is Pavlovic, but at the right price he would not be horrible. A 6'8' SG would fill a need.

Edit: But then again I guess it could be Pavlovic.

It would be even better if it was Stienmann (sp?). He is a big C who can rebound (fills a need) and was also a target for the Wolves....

Hearing C Lee deal is more like 4.6M to start. Celtics paying Pavlovic's salary for Blazers and threw Portland a 2nd.

Impressive. We have 3 damn trades about Courtney Lee.

So far we have Jeffries and Pavlovic for free and extra 2nd rounders to boot.

2 2nd rounders and 2 euro stashes for...absolutely nothing. Not that they are the greatest assets, but it's solid work, getting free pieces. The younger greek stash seems like he can have some value in adeal. Not tons, but likely more than a 2nd rounder. Good asset building so far.

Pavlovic, Papanikolaou, Printezis (the 3 Ps) and a couple of second rounders, all for basically nothing. I'm liking this Olshey character.

And he's not done yet, I suspect.

So if Boston pays for Pavlovic's salary, theoretically we could bring him into camp, take a look, and cut him if we wanted to make room for someone else. I like that

It's like trading a paper clip for something that leads to something else, etc. etc. until you end up with a car.

This sounds identical to our involvement with the Knicks and Felton.

Try saying that three times fast!

I'm reminded of the folk tale about the boy who took a cow to market and kept trading down and down and down until all he had was a stick of wood - and when the crow mocked him, he threw the stick at it, and ended up with nothing. Olshey seems to be the reverse.

Bingo. That's exactly what Olshey is doing--picking up pennies on the ground hoping to trade in a couple rolls of them for a dollar.

There's a trend emerging with Neil that I really like; he seems like he knows how to inject himself into other team's deal-making processes successfully.

My biggest gripe with KP was that he seemed to always be flailing trying to make a deal, but apparently couldn't for one reason or another (possibly because he irritated so many other GMs if Woj's columns are to be believed?).
