    That's what I noticed too.

He's a righty and he loves to go left.

Roy was the same exact way.

He mentioned in an interview that teams are forcing him left cuz he's right handed. Just happens that he can go left as well.

A lot of things you have to like about him. He can shoot, finish and a capable passer as well.

A lot of people like to compare him to Bayless, but the one thing that has jumped out to me that Bayless never had was the strength and body control to finish in traffic like Damian.

He needs to work on being more consistent effort wise on defense, but thats always a problem for most rookies. He has the tools to be a good defender but he just has to make more of a commitment on that end.

Seems to lack a pull up jumper game. With bigger, longer, more athletic big manning the middle once the real games start he'll need to utilize that more often. I think this is where his shooting mechanics hurt him. Showed off a couple floaters tonight though which was nice to see.

Was watching college footage of him, he does have a pull up jumper but it is far from amazing.

Man, how awesome is it to finally have our PGotF?

He's getting rave reviews in Vegas by even those outside the team.

I remember Roy in summer league pretty well. They made him play PG the first four games and he was decent, and picking his spots. The last game, he finally played SG, and dropped like 35. Solidified my view of him as a certified baller. I totally agree on getting the same feeling from Dame.

    Re: Official Lillard Mancrush Thread

gender reassignment? nah, not unless you want to. But you could certainly understand that it's a thread on a basketball forum and not everything needs to be about gender equality, sexism, or (more importantly) you.

It wouldn't even be a big deal if this seriously wasn't the only thing you seem to do. Is being a lesbian and a woman the only things that matter in your life? I've never seen someone crusade so much in such an inappropriate format. This is a basketball forum. We talk about basketball here. I apologize if the first thought on my mind when I create a thread is not "am I going to offend crandc because I didn't mention women in this post?"

Here's a little education for you. Not all men are sexist. Not all men are threatened by women. Not all men are homophobic.

I have gay friends. One of them actually just married the love of his life. I'm very happy for him.

I'm not threatened by women. I grew up around women. I love an intelligent woman who has opinions and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I hope my fiancee makes more money than me because then we will have a comfortable life.

What I can't stand is someone who thinks they're pioneering for a cause, but instead only making their cause look bad because they're constantly injecting their political agenda into conversations that have NOTHING to do with that topic.

If this was a thread discussing womens rights, or gay rights, or equality, you would be 100% valid to post your opinion and discuss your thoughts on the issue, but why does every thread that even mentions a woman have to bring you out of hiding so that you can enlighten the neanderthals about how misinformed they truly are?

If you want to post about the Portland Trail Blazers, GREAT, we would love to hear your opinions on the matter, but I know I'm not the only one who is sick and tired of your shtick. I've never posted anything sexist. I've never posted anything derogatory towards women. I've never had an avatar of a scantily clad model, so who is really the judgmental one here?

You call me a sexist, but you don't know me. You don't know the first thing about me. How is that any different than using a derogatory term against women or gays? Maybe you should think twice before being so judgmental.

    Re: Official Lillard Mancrush Thread

Well sure, there's always that caveat, but what stands out is how easy he makes everything look -- you don't get the feeling that he's expending maximum energy/effort just to hang with these guys (which doesn't imply that he's being lazy either).

I just remember how hard Bayless played in his stint and I don't just mean in terms of effort; it was always through people and into people, like a bull in a china shop with no grace, no smoothness, and despite putting up massive points, it was all pretty one-dimensional and he's had trouble translating his game for several years.
