Cool! We had so much fun at the Larry Miller Resignation Party! Who should jump out of the cake this time?
Well, David Kahn has succeeded in one area - he's made the Timberwolves relevant. In the past, they sucked so bad, there was no reason to dislike them or their fans. In fact, on the extremely rare occasion when I felt any emotion about the Timberwolves and their fans, that emotion was pity. Beating them by double digits on a regular basis just wasn't all that thrilling. It was just kind of expected - ho hum. Now, thanks to Kahn and his idiotic attempts to fuck with our roster, and the resulting clueless trolling, spamming and premature gloating in this forum by the Timberwolves fans, I may actually take some satisfaction in beating this doormat of a franchise. I may actually take some small pleasure in seeing them in their usual spot at the bottom of the standings. And, I won't feel slightly sorry for them, as a fellow small market team, when Kevin Love refuses to resign with them and demands a trade. The reason? They did this all to themselves. It was totally self-inflicted. Kahn's plan was ill conceived and poorly executed. He got what he deserved, and so will his team. BNM
Since we lost the Supes and we were moved out of the Pacific, denying us much of the L*ker hatred that we deserve, it's nice to have a new rivalry. We've always hated Utah, but Minny has just been a milquetoast opponent. As for how highly revered Kahn is, I offer this thread link: http://rubechat.kfan.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=205866&sid=ad7a8f5f7309e650985ac95ac11f2832
