KC clarifys this a little. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...0-bits-bulls-chicago--20120720,0,851728.story
OK, I did some checking. If you haven't, here's some info on Beverley: - Starred at Marshall here in Chicago - Was SEC (Arkansas) Freshman of the Year in '06-'07 - Overall production dropped off slightly his sophomore season at Arkansas, but did lead the team in rebounding (6.6rpg) which for a guy who's only 6-1.5 is a pretty good trick. - Wasn't selected in the 2008 draft so he went to play in Europe/Russia. - Selected by the Lakers in the 2009 draft and then traded to the Heat. Played for the Heat's summer league team in 2009, but didn't make their team and returned to Russia. - Was the 2012 Eurocup MVP. DraftExpress Profile By size, he's clearly a PG, but it seems his game is better suited to SG. He can score and is known as an excellent defender. Not a great 3-pt shooter (under 30% last season). Could be the new JLIII, but doesn't seem to fit the bill as the vet backup PG.
