Michael, I am not papag. But my girls love the seats too. (Say 'hi' to Karla for me.) Take care big guy!
PLAYER NAME GP MPG PTS FGM-FGA FG% RPG APG SPG BPG Damian Lillard (POR) 4 32.8 26.5 8.8-20.0 0.438 4 5.3 0.5 0 Nolan Smith (POR) 2 25 18.5 7.0-12.0 0.583 3.5 2.5 1 0 Will Barton (POR) 5 32.8 15 5.6-12.6 0.444 4.4 2.2 1 0.4 Luke Babbitt (POR) 4 30.8 13.3 4.2-11.2 0.378 7.3 2 1 0.3 Meyers Leonard (POR) 4 29.8 10.5 3.5-6.2 0.56 8.3 0.8 0.3 1.5 A couple of quick notes: Nolan Smith actually played 1.5 games (didn't play 2nd half of game 1, he also should probably be credited with 2 more points for FTs he was awarded but didn't get to take - basically multiply all his numbers by 4/3 Meyers Leonard was sick during one of the games and it was obvious from the beginning - he only got 4 rebounds that game.
On a completely unrelated to PapaG note, I also liked what I saw from Ibekwe and Bost. If I were GM (which thank God I'm not), I'd cut Price and Jeffries, and keep Bost and Ibekwe for the full year.
Before this got derailed, my point was the my girls have always appreciated being able to purchase MGB's seats. SlyPokerDog seems to be trying to troll as hard as anyone here these days. Sly, are you on a post count or something? YOU'RE PATHETIC.
You should have claimed a copywrite on your bullshit before Ben From BlazersEdge did. Golliver is lazy these days and wasn't even in Vegas. Thanks for the thread, though. You authored it, right? You just got plagiarized.
yeah these grades all seem fairly similar, seems like pretty much everyone was disappointed in babbitt
With Summer League over, Lillard finishes on top of nba.com's Rookie Ladder Congrats, Damien A quote: "Even though he sat the final game, the top spot is Lillard's, no doubt about it."
I have no interest in laying a wager, but even if I did, him sticking in the league doesn't necessarily mean it will be with the Blazers; even if he becomes a free agent early, he'll probably land with some team for a little while. And where did you get such a hard-on about making this a bet?
Apparently, according to https://twitter.com/JustinVerrier -Damian Lillard and Josh Selby officially named co-MVPs of Las Vegas Summer League.
I was hoping Babbitt could become a rotational player, a Stoyakovick at best or Novak at worse. I don't see why anyone would care if he can stick in the league as a 15th man, if he is an end of the bench scrub that'll be a dissapointment for someone drafted ad high as he was. I was not encouraged by Babbits performance at summer league. I would be surprised if he is averaging more than 15minutes a game for any of the next three seasons. If he doesn't hit that metric his career to date will have been a failure regardless of actually making a roster or not.
Selby's performance reminded me a lot of how Jarryd Bayless played in Vegas. Head down, drive to the hole, rarely look to pass. Lillard 26.5ppg/5.3apg/4rpg Selby 27.5ppg/2.5apg/2.8rpg Selby did shoot 59%, though. I liked Lillard's performance much better because his statistical percentages were more in line with what we'll see in the regular season. Josh Selby isn't going to shoot 59% from the field for an entire season should he ever actually become a starter in the NBA.
