Was it Illinois weight program or did he just spend a little time in the wieght room with his legal guardian?
I'd rather have him gradually gain the weight. Team doctors (yes, I know) said he has the frame to get up to 280 lbs. without losing any athletic ability. But 20 lbs. in 4 months? Not a good idea. Dude is already jacked:
6% body fat for someone his size is really amazing. I don't think it matters what Medina says (or didn't say). Leonard wants to continue to get stronger and will undoubtedly hit the weights some more. You don't get to 6% body fat by eating cheeseburgers all day, so I'm guessing he is a disciplined eater as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gain 5-10 of good weight by the beginning of the season. Hopefully most of it in his core and legs and the upper body probably doesn't need a lot more than he is carrying now. He has some serious guns and shoulders.
