Its mostly 70+ year olds on the penny slots waiting for the next early bird special at the buffets, so this makes sense. This is actually quite accurate. Especially the Reno part. I like Tahoe a lot better but admittedly have very limited time in Reno. I believe Reno has more casinos, and they're bigger, but they just feel dirty and very antiquated. Like WarriorFan said, the city has a "methy" vibe to it (think Reno 911) and really isn't cracking. Tahoe's got four casinos, none of which are nearly Vegas sized, but definitely plenty for me. Harrah's and Harvey's are nice places. They're across the street from one another and are connected via a tunnel. MontBleu is a step down in classiness, but its my favorite place because they have $5 minimum craps and the club there is big enough and has no shortage of fine women despite being second tier to the club at Harrah's/Harvey's. Pabsts were a dollar last time I was there too, so even my friends who hate dancing/clubbing/have girlfriends enjoyed it. Horizon is kind of dead. Seems like the hot spot for women 35+, but if any of them are good looking and DTF you'll find them at a club/bar in one of the other three casinos anyway. In the winter we usually stay down the street at one of the motels by the lake. I assume it gets much more expensive this time of year though.
Is Beautiful Central Oregon a place on a map? Curious why you feel the need to capitalize "beautiful"?
