David Robinson scores 71 points in a meaningless game against the Clippers just to win a scoring title and everybody says it is so great, yet Kobe scoring 81 points while leading his team from 18 points down in the second half is selfish? If it gets to the 4th quarter and it's clear you can't get to 100, forget about it.The exception is obviously if your team's down and you need to contribute. It was fine for kobe to do that, but with about 4 minutes left the game was easily over. Kobe's points in the last 4 minutes were pointless. Just because he's not gonna score 100 doesn't mean he shouldn't go for history, he was going for the Lakers franchise best and the most points for a guard ever.I bet you're one of those people who say he robbed the fans of a great show when he took himself out of the 62 in 3 game.

IfHe scored 81 on the raptors are you forgetting his game last November? He was playing the MAVS, hes scored 62 i rememeber on espn they siad he had a chance for 80. im not sure theres a vid around somewhere. BUt the MAVS 62 in 3 quarters he could have don it against the MAVS the MAVS went to the championship that season and kobe scored 62 on the in 3QAURters.
