4 hours and 39 minutes until opening ceremonies! Which events do you guys like watching? I like swimming, women's volleyball (for obvious reasons), and gymnastics. I also enjoyed the rowing in the Beijing Olympics, so I'll probably watch that gain.
Soccer, Gymnastics, Basketball, Swimming, Track and Field, and prob tennis this year Opening Ceremony is being shown at 730 PST tonight, but i think its on live sometime today as well
I can watch almost anything at the Olympics and get into it. Track and Swimming are probably the two I look forward to the most, but I'll make an effort to find soccer, gymnastics and rowing. For everything else, I'll tune in and watch, but won't go searching for it on TV. I love basketball, but I just never get excited for it in the Olympics. I'll probably watch the semis and finals, but not before that.
I don't watch anything on the olympics. Dunno, people running, swimming or fencing doesn't really interest me that much. Maybe if the USA basketball is going to lose I'll tune in. Don't even watch the opening ceremonies, its just boring shit to me.
it just trips me out when normal people all of a sudden become experts on swimming and gymnastics like at sports bars. to me, its like when the world cup rolls around and euro-poseur nation starts invading amurrica.
you should know something about me and the people i work with. We deal with the left and the right, dictators or liberators. If the current president had been more agreeable, I wouldn't be talking to you. So if you decide not to sign, you'll wake up with your balls in your mouth and your willing replacement standing over you... if you doubt that, then shoot me, take that money and have a good night's sleep. :MARIS61:
so, someone give me a list of athletes and their sports that I can use to initiate random conversations with bitches. who is this year's Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps?
anyone else? I'm going to randomly interchime and say "you should really look out for _______" next big thing.
I was watching ESPN last night and there's some 22 year old soccer chick who's supposed to be the "it" factor. but then again, its women's soccer. I think Track and Field and Swimming is probably the only one the people want to talk about.
I fail to see how writing dozens of negative posts in a thread devoted to the Olympics is more entertaining than actually watching the Olympics... ? Whatever, enjoy yourself.
we starting a revolution here. basically, the olympics are boring as fuck. so writing these posts, by definition, are more entertaining. last time in the winter olympics all the hipsters were into that shuffling shit with the brooms, what is it this time around?

I think the Olympics are great. Best athletes in the world competing. But for you I recommend checking out women's beach volleyball. Just avoid the women's weight-lifting at all costs.
