    Oh, I don't expect them to really make any noise in the playoffs, but really my point is just that Cuban has kept that team alive and contending a lot longer than I thought he would.

    The real question will come when Dirk retires. He has been the glue for that team. While I think DH is clearly a superstar, I think that team will need a go-to-guy. If Cuban pairs the right guard with Howard, I think that's a championship combo. It's too bad for them that Deron re-signed with NJ because I think a D-Will/Howard pairing would have been deadly.

    Maybe they'll pick up Chris Paul to go with him.

    .... with what cap space? They just maxed Deron, they've got Joe Johnson, and they also signed Wallace.... plus they extended Lopez, right? Where will this cap space come from?
