I'm glad U$C is getting Redd! I want them so stacked and so confident that when we beat the living shit out of them on Nov.3rd they'll be no excuses, NOT ONE! Hell, they had to poach the best player off of PSU just to compete! Vulchers if you ask me! Kiffin shows that when SEC fans call him snakin there's a real reason why!

As for their recruits Zalsa? Vanderdoes, Hutchings and Redfield were the only ones we really wanted, and NO they can't come back to being Ducks, they fucked that up! You either want to be here or not! The DUCKS are not a second choice to the condems anymore! To be honest with you the kid out of Port St. Lucies has got some evil in him.... he may be the Warren Sapp we need to go along AA!

Do any of you really believe that Chip isn't going to unleash hell on USC this year? For any USC fan who was at that game they know we were playing with half our defense, that wont be the case next year and we wont be kicking any fucking field goals to win that game! Further how many points did USC score for the second half? That's with our best 3 defensive players sitting out!

Kiffin can have all the talent in the world, still doesn't change the fact he's a jock riding ass clown that most in all forms of football laugh at! Good thing his dad's a class act, otherwise Lamo would be the selling popcorn in the U$C stands....

Chip is the Bill Belichick of college football, Lamo is about to find that out!

so much stupidity in that anger filled post. Yeah, we need Redd just to compete. We weren't talked about as national title contenders before him. Something tells me if a Penn State player were to go to Oregon, you wouldn't think of it as poaching. But yeah, looking forward to the Nov. 3rd game, should be another great one in building a solid rivalry between the two schools.
As for not having excuses, as if USC or the few fans on here might turn to them, it sure seems like you have plenty to use on last year's game.

Zalsa, In a perfect world i guess I could tolerate your Condem blood, but this is football season and we bleed green and yellow around here..... I'd almost rather you be "DARE I SAY" a Beaver fan, atleast then i'd feel sympathy for you or care less that you're double dipping!

    RR7-

You guys are so thin at running back right now that if you get one injury by Lamo's own words he'd have to look seriously at putting a wide reciever in the back field. You're damn skippy you needed Redd!

As for pre season #1..... ya know how many schools go coast to coast that way? It's almost as lucky as being put on the cover of Madden!

Don't worry this lesson was free!

Oh.... And I've posted very cleary my disdain for poaching PSU players and I think Chip wouldn't go for the low lying fruit cause he has class. Some things are more important than winning a national championship, but ya wont learn that in the ghetto!

Haha fuck the beavers. Trust me, I hate Oregon State too(spent time in Ashland. Duck town when Ducks went to Glendale)

Well I'm not gonna reply to your hateful comments, otherwise tis be trolling. Besides, I like WVU, Michigan(dad grew up a fan), and Utah along with Oregon and SC.

This is a Duck board Zalsa, liking USC isn't in the cards here, it would be hateful if I posted it on your board!

I'm not gonna lie.. I have to agree with Ghost Pepper.. you post in these boards way to much about USC getting recruits that have nothing to do with Oregon.

But alot of what you guys are argueing about can be discussed in a different thread.. this is the recruiting thread.

Not the USC, the trash talking, or the GP broken record thread... the 2013 Oregon recruiting thread. But if a recruit was offered by the Ducks who chose elsewhere, that seems relevant to Oregon recruiting and appropriate here. The facts are that the Trojans have received commitments from a number of kids who held Duck offers... which sucks but oh well

Here's some positive food for thought. Going into this season Oregon has 12 seniors and 6 unused scholarships. So barring unforeseen attrition & assuming their verbals become commits in Feb, they have max 10 spots left with 6 months to go in this recruiting cycle. The 8 guys who have verbally given their commitment all look very promising. Hell, the kicker (Matt Wogan) is supposed to have the biggest leg of any HS recruit in the country. Redmond and Carrington seem a lock to get a 4th star in the next round of evaluations as they've been dominating the camps. Being privy to various video interviews of the new guys, trust me that these guys seem bright and focused on the right things. The cupboards are already loaded with talent and the most glaring needs for quality depth (RB & OL) have already been addressed. It's a phenomenal time to be a Duck!

Same here, the future looks bright for the Ducks. They have top tier coaching(whereas USC only has top tier recruiting as of this year).

And besides, I said before that I love College Football, I like a lot of teams outside of Oregon and I mentioned them already, USC is just one of them. I'm just being a sports fan here. But yes, let's stick with the recruiting.

I have a really good feeling about Wyatt Teller. He's the 7th ranked SDE and outside of Oregon he has Virginia, V-Tech, Michigan, and Clemson on his list. Michigan and Clemson are loaded with defensive recruits so you can count them out. Virginia is still budding and hasn't really gotten to an elite level yet. Which leaves V-Tech and Oregon, and with Oregon's repeated success I have, I reiterate, a good feeling about him choosing the Ducks over the Hokies(Beamer seems close to retiring, but that maybe just me).

Although Jaynard has yet to recieve an offer, I think the moment he does get one he'll hop on it immediately. He's the 9th ranked DT in the nation and if he can get more bulk on his frame, could become the 2nd coming of Ngata. This is just wishful thinking though.

And then there's the Twins Robinson, all 4 stars and could lean to play Basketball and Football at Oregon(Oregon hoops is good right?).

Only thing we could do now is wait and see :)

If Green commits to Oregon, I think that will make Oregon the best incoming backfield in the nation hands down!

For once I agree with Stomp, our high profile positions are overflowing.... Pick up some big evils for the O line and D Line, and a take your paint LB and work on finding the right type of secondary fillers and we'll be just fine!

Has Green even taken his official visit to Oregon yet? That said I understand if he wanted to go for Big Blue as we have Tyner, Marshall and such already here.....

Then get the hell out of here!

That said, I'm not surprised USC coaches are soliciting PSU players like johns seeking whores. SC is a rogue program.

my main point was that Oregon is bordering on just fine status already. The past few seasons they've left a few scholarship slots open (like 3-5) and still featured their roster depth more then most teams. Assuming the verbal commits become Ducks, I struggle to come up with the position most in need of more quality depth. Regardless of position, my main hope is that the 7-10 guys who make up the rest of the class are as talented, bright & focused as the first 8 seem to be.

Since this has been happening before the allegations, unlikely

my guess is that Chip might prefer to fill out the very bottom of his roster with overachiever/happy to be on the scout team type walkons (Rudies). Those fringe guys who rarely make it to the field add value too in prepping the guys who're in the mix.

This week he whittled his list of schools down to 6 (Ole Miss, Auburn, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia Tech) but didn't name a favorite. He said he plans on taking OVs in the fall which would probably include Oregon (my speculation) as it's too far to visit on his own dime unofficially as he's done with several of the others on his list.

Nope, and no one else has either. The period when recruits can take Official Visits (where the school pays for plane tickets, lodging, and such) starts on Sept. 1st

I'm from Virginia and I can tell ya Oregon is very similar to Virginia the way it looks, except for the heat and cold cold without snow that our winters have in Virginia... I could very easily see Green loving Oregon.... For gosh sakes his last name is Green it's a sign I tell ya! Just think about the Tshirts for years to come.... Go GREEN! HAHAHA!
