Mark Prior and Kerry Wood (Change Carlos Zambrano with either one) would be on top if injuries had not hit them.Francisco Liriano and Johan Santana are tops for me.
Prior and Wood suck ass right now. Those 3 could've been the best trio ever if Dusty didn't make Wood pitch 108 pitches and Prior 113 pitches per game in 2003. He killed their careers.Right now the top duo is Johan Santana and Francisco Liriano. They will be such a great duo as the years go on.

Marquis is crap. Smoltz is old and Hudson hasn't been good at all this season. Zito and Harden are pretty good but Zito seems to have a good amount of bad games when his curveball doesen't break as much. I'd take Santana or Liriano ahead of them. There really aren't that many good duo's right now. It's mostly just a stud pitcher and then a decent one.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LakersFan247 @ Aug 2 2006, 04:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Penny and Gagne deserve to be mentioned except Gagne is injured.</div>I think Gagne's pretty much done and I think this means starters.
Yup, Gange is relief, and were talking starters.Buehrle/Garcia or Garland?Johnson/Mussina?Oswalt/Clemens?
Why count Randy Johnson? He has sucked before he has came to the Yankees. He has an ERA over 5.00 this year. If you were going to do a Yankees duo then it would be Chein Ming Wang and Mussina.
Liriano and Santana. I wish i could be saying Prior and Wood because Prior is one of my favorite pitchers but dang they just have injuries all the time.

Yeah, Beurhle hasn't been able to throw strikeouts, and he has a poor ERA this year as well. That shouldn't be listed either.
Verlander/Rogers is a pretty decent duo. They aren't stellar in all aspects, but they get the job done.
It was just a joke. A homerish comment like everyone on this board has made. No need to take everything seriously. Look he even had a smiley face.
Bonderman/ Verlander deserve to be up there too. Verlander is tops in wins and Bonderman has i think 12 or 13. but i think its no doubt either Clemens and Oswalt or Liriano and Santana with the Twins probably edging the Astros
I'm gonna say a starter and reliever which would give you Mike Mussina and Mariano Rivera who is just kick ass.
