A venue that used to be so friendly is not nearly as favorable to Tiger Woods these days. Woods used to treat Firestone Country Club like his personal playground, winning seven times in 10 appearances with no finish worse than fourth. But of late, the results have been far from those dominating days. Perhaps that is why a round of 72 on Friday looks so miserable next to Woods' name at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. For the ninth time in his past 10 rounds at Firestone, Woods shot in the 70s at the site of the World Golf Championship event. In the 10 years prior to 2010, he had shot a total of 11 rounds (out of 44) in the 70s, with the worst a 72.
