When will gymnastics be over? I'm sick and tired of it!!!! and they always show it at night (primetime).
Boxing is in the olympics, and MMA is now more popular than boxing. Snowboarding is in the winter olympics.
Ping pong, trampoline and badminton should be added to the list...or maybe they keep them and add foosball, slip-n-slide and croquet so that we capture a more diverse selection yard/rec room activities.
Really? Wow. So maybe slip-n-slide has a chance. I think I could be really, really good at that and I am willing to represent our country in that sport.
Looks like it's been a big medal day for the U.S. today...I'm pretty sure the total has gone up approx. 10.
Australia is going to get smashed by you guys. Players to watch for Australia. Patty Ingles - has been Australia's most consistent player Dellevedova - Has spent most of the time running the point Baynes - Has shown a lot of improvent in this tournement You may hear Australian coach (Spurs Ast) Brett Brown at timeouts telling players you're Manu, you're Duncan, etc; as Australia run Spurs plays.
At least it's better than figure skating. Or synchronized "swimming". Face it: they market the Olympics programming largely for women.
After 5 events there's Ashton Eaton, and then there's the other guys. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-day?utm_source=ubermedia&utm_medium=referral
Can we give the horses the medals instead of the riders/trainers in the equestrian events? Also, why the hell was baseball removed? I can understand why (American) football is not included, but baseball is a global game. I never got that one. Did it really have that much to do with doping in the MLB? I'd also like to see Olympic Rugby.
Gymnastics is very popular. The events that are popular in the US get US prime time television, which is why you don't see a lot of soccer (football to everyone else) or judo but you see gymnastics, diving, track and field, men's basketball. It's ratings and ads. The name of the real game is money. Funny, I haven't seen gymnastics, must not be on when I watch, which is not much since my TV time is normally 5-7 when there isn't anything.
