WHo do you guys think will ahve a breakout year where they finally seperate themselves from all the other potential good players. My top 5 in no particular order are.1. Boris Diaw, Good season last time, but lets see him do better.2. Darko, i dont know how to spell his last name sorry, but now that he is on a team where he can show his stuff it will be interesting to see him play.3. Chris Wilcox, Once he gets the contract issues behind him, it will be time to get him on the court, which is the sooner the better, but in that case I hope that he signs a deal gets on the court cuz im a sonics guy.4. Chris Paul, yeah I know he was great last season but he wasnt an all star and his team wasnt in the playoffs but this year could be the year.5. Marvin Williams, he was the #2 pick in 05, but will he finally post the numbers he should? His sophomore season should help him find out, especially if Harrington gets traded.Tell me if i forgot someone. MMk.
Yao Ming...did you see him at the end of the year last year while TMac was out?The dude was a problem....I think hes gunna step his game up hard and win most improved player of the year
Hopefully Andre Iguodala, but as long as CWebb is there, it's not going to happen.Other players would be Darko, Gerald Green (if given the playing time), and possibly Louis Williams (once again, if he isn't buried on the bench behind Ollie).
Devin Harris, Marvin Williams, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony. I expect Carmelo to step up his game in a big time way.
Sarunas Jasikevicius- once he learns the Indiana Pacers offense and style of play he will be a reall solid point guard, and with Anthony Johnson off to Dallas and Jamaal Tinsley injury prone, I think Jasikevicius will impress many fans next season.J.R Smith- he'll finally receive some playing time in Denver because of Denver's lack of depth at the shooting guard position and I really think this kid can blossom in the Nugget's style of play with Andre Miller running the point guard position.Marquis Daniels- Daniels will finally receive some legit playing time in an Indiana Pacer's uniform and I really expect this kid to live up to the hype in Indiana.
Emeka Okafor. Eveyone's just about forgotten him, yet I think that injury-free he's going to be very good. He's still raw, and he'll probably never live up to the guy drafted after him, Dwight Howard, but I still think he'll do well, rebounding and shot-blocking.

I expect MarvinWilliams to break out next year. Every month he improved steadily. So I expect him NOT to start next season, but he will get starters minutes off the bench, and he'll be a big part of the Atlanta offense with Harrington departing..Predicted Stats: 13/6.4Josh Smith is a guy that was just a beast in the 2nd half of the season. He broke out, and I expect for him to produce next season. He wil prob. be a 2nd scoring option behind Joe Johnson, and he will be the starting SF. Predicted Stats: 18/7/4Chris Wilcox has got an enormous amount of talent and athletisicm, but he needs to be the guy he was at the end of last season. If he can find a way to be productive on offense, and continue to grab boards, and alter shots he'll have a great career.Predicted Stats: 12/10
Speedy Claxton. He showed some great things last year, backing up for Chris Paul. He is talented, a pretty good passer, and he has lightning speed. I expect him to have a great year in a starting situation with Atlanta.Darko. He will get alot more minutes with Orlando than he did with Detroit. He showed us what he could do with the Magic late last year. He is obviously a very talented kid, or else he wouldnt have been picked second in a class like '03. He has a jumper ranging out to about 17 feet, and he is a terrific shot blocker. I think he will have a breakout season next year.Josh Smith-He is a very talented kid who can do everything. Steal, block, score, shoot, defend, rebound. He has all the tools, and I think he will have a great overall season. He is also quick, and athletic.TJ Ford-Now he has a superstar like Bosh, and a great offensive team to work with. He has a brand new start next season, and he won't have Mo Williams barking up the tree. I expect him to get more ppg totals, and better apg numbers.

You can't really say Diaw because technically he broke out last season. Chris Paul did as well. The term breakout means who will do much better than expected and that's definetly what Paul did. My list is...JR Smith- He's out of NO finally and now he's in a team that fits his style of play where he should get plenty of play time.Raymond Felton- I have been high on this guy for a while now. He played just as well as Paul at the end of the season and should play a lot this season especiall if Knight doesn't return.Josh Smith- Like Felton he was playing great towards the end of the season and with another year on his belt he should be set to break out.Louis Williams- He played great in the RMVs and if Mo Cheeks will actually play him this season he could play very well.Al Jefferson- He has plenty of talent and now is heading into his third season. He should be set to break out soon as long as he works hard.Dwight Howard- Technically he did already breakout last season but I'm saying he could break out into a superstar this season.
Josh and J.R Smith.Josh Smith was sick around the end of the season. Im pumped to see what this guy can do.
I like the pick of Josh Smith, especially with Al Harrington leaving.Stephen JacksonMarcus BanksIke Diogu
