yes she has. its the same media that plays into her looks/beauty...and at the same time they rip her apart whenever she doesn't perform to their level. She's working her a** off, she was devastated in 2008, she did her best to redeem herself in 2012. So what if she looks good, why shouldn't she make money from her looks...everyone else does...
No, she's been very fairly criticized for not bringing home a medal, because she runs track and field, she didn't medal, and yet, she has enough endorsement deals for me to know who she is. It's a harsh reality, but it's how it should be. Why the hell should I give a shit about Lolo Jones? I've been bombarded with commercials and articles about what a great athlete she is, or how she's a virgin. Great. Win something. There are athletes all over our country who are pushing themselves over the brink every single day, and none of them will ever see Lolo's endorsements. If you get the endorsements and the fame, then you can't cry when people criticize you for underachieving. Do you think all of the USA athletes who won Gold, Silver, or Bronze get the acclaim Lolo does? There are athletes out there who just won Gold medals, and yet nobody would recognize them on the street. And we're here talking about whether it's fair to criticze Lolo Jones.
