4 years probation? 2 year bowl ban? 30 Scholarships over 3 years? Rumored at this point, but substantiated, I believe. That is harsh if close to accurate
found some good play by play on DuckTerritory http://oregon.247sports.com/Board/45/Official-Duck-Tweets-11398897/3 this comment got me thinking,
The internet is a cold and nasty place. This reminds me of when everybody was up in arms about Kelly going to Tampa.
Much more credible source than Dawgman.com and a ESPN Wisconsin radio guy. No axes to grind there....
I have a hard time believing these rumors at this point. I can't find anything substantial supporting the rumor.
I was about to make the where's tlongII pigpile joke, but you're already in piling in on this obvious farce. Oh well waves of sanctions have been immanently crushing Oregon for a year+ according to dawgman.com, yet UO has yet to receive an official Notice of Allegations from the NCAA. When/if that happens, it kicks off a whole new process that UO has months to respond to. fans aren't privy to much, but unless you're looking to freak out, holding on to the few facts we have seems smart STOMP
Yell O @MightyOregon 'ESPN affiliate journalist' @ESPNChrisLarsen deletes original Tweets & then entire Twitter account in wake of spreading board rumor as fact.
Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo does not like your attempt to steal my thunder
Another case of a sports journalist trying to make a name for himself? Didn't this just happen about a week ago with the guy reporting that Auburn might see penalties because of Jovon Robinson's forged transcripts at Auburn? Remember when they had a front page story about how the Saints were using video cameras to tap into the other team's plays? The case was handled by the police, who recently just reported that they found no evidence or wrongdoing on the Saints end. No harm no foul, right? Except for the Saints' reputation. Fucking ESPN.
