He just turned 27 less than a month ago. I really don't understand saying he's too old for the rebuild. He'll be the perfect age to be the leader of a playoff team when the rest of the guys are ready.

Aldridge will likely stay quiet for a year to see which/if any of the young pieces develop into solid NBA starters.

But if this team sucks with signs of little or very slow improvement, I suspect he will be looking to go else where.

Probably, but I don't know if a year is going to be enough for guys like Lillard and (particularly) Leonard to show enough. We'll see.

I listen to Berger and heard the whole thing.... It was completely hypothetical. No concrete facts or evidence

    Indeed.

    Lillard has a #1 mentality.

    Aldridge has a #2.

If LA is forced to play center a bunch due to our roster, I think THAT would be what makes him start asking for a trade.

He can call his position whatever he wants. I just want the guy to play in the post more.

I believe that's what BHip was referring to LMA disliking. Remember when Canales took over and LMA said he was having the time of his life? Because LMA didn't have to play down in the post anymore.

LMA had abandoned the post long before Canales took over. After the all-star break (and even a bit before that) he started drifting outside more and didn't work as hard to get into the post.

Hmm sounds about right. But was that because he gave up on his team already giving up, or because he wasn't asked to get down low. I'm guessing it's the first one, which isn't very good.

If either are true then both those answers mean bad things for LMA. I'm hoping it was his hip that was really bothering him when he hand to bang to get into position and thats why he stopped. Unfortunately it probably isn't that.

I like " instant puddin' " because it seems like an old school 60's nickname. I bet there was some ABA player who went by Pudding or Instant Pudding.

Aldridge is an elegant aircraft carrier. Anyone can land on him. I wish we'd get a couple of energetic destroyers for him.
