<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Detroit News - Pistons reserve center Dale Davis was arrested early Tuesday morning in Miami Beach, Fla., after an altercation with police that ended with a Taser shot, the Detroit News is reporting.Davis has been charged with four misdemeanors: disorderly conduct, resisting arrest without violence, assault and assault of a law enforcement officer. Each count carries a maximum of six months in jail and a $500 fine.According to the police report, Davis threatened officers and had to be subdued by a Taser to be arrested. The Taser burst left small puncture marks on his chest and abdomen, according to police.Davis' agent, Chubby Wells, said they are looking into their legal options against the Miami Beach police department."We're talking to attorneys right now," Wells said Wednesday."It's Dale's name on the line, and all I can say is that things did not go down the way they say it did."</div>Source: The Detroit News
Damn it Dale. We aren't in Portland where you can do whatever you want. He needs to get his act together because he is going to be playing alot more this season.
Wow, he needs to get his act together fast or his arrest record won't be the only thing to go in the toilet. And hmmm....I live in Miami and I haven't heard of this yet.....

He is old so he wouldn't play much anyway. He showed some control "refusing arrest WITHOUT violence" but then it seems he just lost it.

Dale is a classy guy and this isn't something I expected from him.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Things escalated when Davis allegedly put his hands in his pockets, a move police saw as a threat. They demanded he show his hands.Davis responded: "I don't have a gun! Are you going to shoot me?"</div>Dale Davis puts his hands in his pockets.Police - "HE'S GOT A GUN!!!!!!!!!!"Sounds like the police overreacted and got under DD's skin on purpose. Oh well...

I saw a headline on hoopshype.com about Dale Davis' case and if the Miami po po is going to press any charges against him. I mean depending if Davis gets any jail time that still leaves the Pistons pretty thin at the 5 spot. I think the Pistons best option now is to re-sign Cato, I mean I know he lacks motivation but at least he would provide some kind of low post presence. I mean even if it is just for one season at least we could have some insurance for the upcoming season. HoLLa baCk
What's Shaq going to do against a former foe like Dale Davis?Resigning Kelvin Cato would be a good move. He's more productive than Dale Davis. I agree totally.

I mean the Pistons signed Nazr but Davis is just too old and slow nowadays and we need some kind of insurance. HoLLa baCk
Hey, Pistonfan11, who is that doing a windmill in your avatar? My first guess was David Ham, but I don't know...Sorry that I'm off topic, but I wouldn't have given any sufficient detail about this matter, anyway. I'd just state the same thing everyone else did... Either a cheap joke or how Kelvin Cato ought to be resigned.
