Kemp, Mattingly ejected in series finale

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly and center fielder Matt Kemp were both ejected in the top of the second inning of Thursday's series finale.

With Andre Ethier at the plate, Kemp was thrown out of the game from the dugout, where he was presumably yelling at home-plate umpire Angel Campos. Kemp was likely still fuming about being called out on strikes in the first inning.

Kemp's first-inning at-bat sequence went ball, strike (looking), swinging strike and swinging strike.

Once he was tossed, Kemp stormed to the home-plate area to voice his displeasure, and eventually, he needed to be restrained by Mattingly and the Dodgers' coaches. The other coaches would also need to restrain Mattingly, but the manager was soon ejected for the sixth time this season.
