Prince Fielder Homers Twice; Detroit Tigers Win

It was an exciting Friday night of baseball. The Detroit Tigers were coming off a road trip, and had their ace on the mound to welcome in the Baltimore Orioles.

Justin Verlander was coming into the game having the second lowest ERA at home in the major leagues. And has owned the Orioles at Comerica Park. Posting and ERA close to 1.10.

Verlander didn’t have the best of nights on the mound. Not his standards at least. By the fifth inning, the Tigers’ ace was closing in on 100 pitches and had already surrendered three runs. Verlander was working out of trouble since the start of the game.
