"Bears rookie safety Brandon Hardin was released from the hospital Sunday and all major tests came back clear after he was carted off the field during the third quarter of Saturday night's game with a neck injury.

Hardin did not lose consciousness or feeling in his extremities after he was injured tackling Redskins tight end Logan Paulsen.

It is too soon to determine when the third-round draft pick from Oregon State will be able to play again. According to a source, Hardin will undergo further tests in two weeks to see when he can be on the field again."
