"Brian Urlacher is back at practice with the Chicago Bears after having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. But the middle linebacker did not participate Monday at Halas Hall in the team's first session at its headquarters since training camp concluded. Urlacher was watching linebacker drills with a compression sock on his left leg when media was permitted to view the session. He was one of three defensive starters sidelined as free safety Chris Conte (right shoulder) and defensive tackle Stephen Paea (left ankle) also remain out. Conte injured his shoulder in Saturday's preseason game but was no longer wearing the sling he had on when he left Soldier Field."
