Apparently no interest from Cavs on Ohio guy Michael Redd, but teams mentioned as possible suitors include the Wizards, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Bulls, and yes, Thunder, who still have a spot available in the backcourt after Derek Fisher's departure.

The Bulls are now down to guys who will accept less than the league minimum salary. In Redd's case, it's the league minimum salary, but for less than a full season (they can't sign Redd until late November). Given this, it's kinda hard to get excited or upset about this kind of signing.

It was my weak attempt at sarcasm:-) No worries, Transplant!

But yeah, that response is almost a part of a chicagoan's DNA. Especially if one grew up a Cubs fan. It takes a tremendous amount of spiritual energy to overcome that ingrained pessimism.

It also takes a tremendous amount of spiritual energy to stop thinking that the world revolves around me and my wants -- more than I have available at the moment!

But things are quiet in Bulls land. Times like these, you wish something would happen just to have something to talk about -- like Carlos Boozer falling and breaking his wrist, or Rip tweaking his hamstring, or Jo visiting another spacey therapist or hanging out at a nude beach.

It's going to be rough until Derrick comes back and makes Dwyane eat his words.
