Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Jay Ratliff left Saturday night's preseason game on crutches because he suffered a high-ankle sprain raising concerns about his availability for the regular season opener on Sept. 5. Ratliff didn't speak with reporters after the game with St. Louis, but he will undergo an X-ray to determine the full extent of the injury.
